ALMAE FAQ
Clear answers before fit, travel, or any future application.
Private fit-review requests are open through a minimal first-contact form. These answers describe the boundaries without promising acceptance, a place, payment terms, or an outcome.
Frequently asked questions
Start with what ALMAE is, who the format may fit, what it excludes, and what must be confirmed in writing.
What is ALMAE?
ALMAE is a selective fourteen-day sacred-inner immersion in Germany: a bounded group process for psychologically stable, self-responsible adults at a genuine point of reorientation.
How should I understand ALMAE’s sacred-inner language?
ALMAE describes its orientation as sacred-inner work within the ALMAE Way. This is neither generic wellness nor a promise of transformation. References to wholeness, energy, nature, God, or healing express a spiritual orientation; they do not describe autonomous powers, clinical effects, or promised outcomes.
What does a day at ALMAE feel like?
Each day is held by a clear but quiet rhythm: shared orientation, time in nature, guided inner attention, periods of silence, simple integration and enough space to rest. ALMAE does not publish a public timetable or the inner sequence of the immersion. The structure is shared with accepted participants in the right context, so the work can stay protected, undramatic and personally held.
What is the ALMAE Way?
It is the framework behind the immersion: perception, feeling, embodiment, expression, responsibility, and integration held within structure, rhythm, honest seeing, and lived return. It is not a doctrine, diagnosis, or authority over another person’s life.
Does ALMAE offer healing?
No. ALMAE neither provides nor promises healing, treatment, or a health outcome. Any reference to healing belongs to spiritual belief, not to a result produced by the programme, a guide, a practice, or a participant’s effort.
Is ALMAE therapy or clinical care?
No. ALMAE does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, provide psychotherapy, trauma or addiction treatment, detoxification, crisis stabilization, medical care, or emergency support. It does not replace appropriately qualified care and is not monitored for urgent help. In immediate danger or an acute crisis, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.
Who should not come to ALMAE?
ALMAE is not the right setting for someone in an acute psychological crisis, active addiction, untreated severe trauma instability, medical emergency, or a situation that requires therapy, psychiatric care, detox, clinical supervision or urgent support. It is also not appropriate for someone looking for a public booking path, a promised result, a diagnosis, or someone else to take responsibility for their life decisions. When in doubt, the first step is not to send sensitive details publicly, but to ask whether a private fit review is appropriate.
What does ALMAE not promise?
ALMAE does not promise healing, transformation, relief, clarity, a life decision, acceptance, or a particular spiritual experience. The work can make room for honest attention and responsibility; any result remains free and cannot be produced or sold.
What does personal responsibility mean here?
Each participant remains responsible for health, boundaries, belief, conduct, relationships, finances, work, and major choices. Manuel may guide the group rhythm and questions, but he does not take authority over another person’s life.
Who guides the immersion?
Manuel Frey guides and accompanies the group. A yoga teacher is involved for relevant programme periods. Exact roles and current responsibilities must be stated in writing before commitment.
How large is the group?
The cohort has one to seven participants. Even with a very small cohort, the offer remains the ALMAE group format. Individual 1:1 support is not included or promised.
Is support available outside sessions?
No support outside announced sessions is promised. ALMAE is not an on-call service. Any included post-integration contact is group-based and stated in the written offer.
What happens during the fourteen days?
The intended rhythm combines guided group work, stillness, embodied attention, yoga or movement, personal reflection, conversation, nature, rest, and quiet integration. It is deliberately not published as a full timetable or inner sequence, because ALMAE is not a course to consume.
Does the programme include ceremony, physical touch, or substances?
No. The programme includes no ceremony, physical touch, or substances. The described embodied attention, yoga, and movement are non-clinical group practices within the stated boundaries.
Is fasting part of the programme?
No. Fasting may be named only as optional preparation before arrival. It is not required and is not an in-programme practice. Each participant remains responsible for whether it is personally appropriate.
May I pause or leave?
Yes. A participant may pause and may decide to leave. Subject to mandatory statutory rights and the controlling written terms, the programme fee is not refunded if participation is ended after the programme begins. Those terms must be accepted and signed before payment.
Who may be eligible?
A potential participant is an adult who is psychologically stable, self-responsible, able to join a small group, and able to meet the time, quiet, privacy, conduct, and practical demands of the immersion. Interest alone does not establish fit.
What if I cannot hike or do yoga?
A limitation does not automatically exclude someone, but actual demands and possible adaptations must be assessed individually before commitment. ALMAE does not promise full accessibility in every circumstance.
What happens after the immersion?
Post-integration is group-based. Its exact form, timing, and inclusion are confirmed in the written offer. It is not 1:1 support, ongoing care, therapy, or crisis availability.
What is included in the programme fee?
The written offer identifies the included preparation information, fourteen-day group immersion, announced group sessions, relevant yoga-teacher involvement, programme materials, and only the group post-integration expressly included there.
What is not included?
Hotel or other accommodation, meals, beverages, hotel services, travel, transfers, visas, parking, insurance, personal expenses, 1:1 support, outside-session support, and clinical or emergency services are not included.
What does the immersion cost?
The ALMAE programme fee is EUR 6,970 including German VAT, subject to confirmation in the current written offer. Hotel, meals, and travel are not included; accommodation, meals, transfers, insurance, and personal expenses are arranged and paid separately.
Why is there a personal review?
The immersion is selective because timing, readiness, expectations, and group fit matter. A personal review supports a responsible fit decision and protects the integrity of the ALMAE setting. It is not a clinical assessment and does not replace independent medical or psychological advice.
Does interest lead automatically to acceptance?
No. Interest, correspondence, a future request, or willingness to pay would not create acceptance. A mature no, a pause, or a suggestion to choose another setting can be the responsible outcome.
Why is the process quiet and selective?
ALMAE is not designed as a public booking funnel. The tone is deliberately quiet because fit, confidentiality, sacred seriousness, practical limits, and personal responsibility matter more than volume or speed.
What happens after acceptance?
After personal review and explicit acceptance, ALMAE sends the current written offer, terms, and the direct invoice or manual payment instructions. Only then does payment belong in the process. Accepted participants receive the private preparation handoff in the appropriate order: practical notes, arrival guidance, documents, and integration information. Hotel, meals, travel, insurance, and personal arrangements remain separate, and the client portal is not a public registration area.
When is payment requested?
Payment is requested only after personal review, explicit acceptance, and written terms. Accepted participants receive documents and an invoice or manual payment instructions directly from ALMAE. There is no public checkout, no payment link, no automatic confirmation, and no payment step before fit has been decided.
Which languages are supported?
The language in which public orientation content appears does not confirm the language of operational support, participant documents, the group, or any private process. Those languages must be stated in the current written offer before acceptance.
Can I request a fit review now?
Yes, through the minimal private request form and only after reading the fit, limits, and privacy notes. Send only a brief non-sensitive orientation request. Do not send diagnoses, medical documents, trauma histories, identity documents, financial records, or crisis narratives. A request creates no application entitlement, waitlist position, reservation, contract, hotel booking, payment obligation, or acceptance.
Where does the immersion take place?
The public location context is Parkhotel Schillerhain in Kirchheimbolanden, Germany, near the Donnersberg region and about one hour from Frankfurt Airport. The landscape matters as a quiet setting of forest, stone, open air, and cultural memory; it is honoured as creation, not presented as a cure or promised effect. Hotel, meals, and travel remain separate and are not booked through this website.
How is confidentiality handled?
The format is deliberately small, with one to seven participants, and requires respect for privacy, group rhythm, and boundaries. Current conduct, confidentiality, and communication rules must be stated in writing before payment. ALMAE can set and enforce its rules within the programme, but it cannot control another participant’s conduct outside it.
If these boundaries make sense, review Eligibility privately and then use the application page for a brief minimal fit-review request.
Review eligibility and fitOperational correspondence only; do not send health, crisis, or application information. Contact
