Looking for a healing retreat? Start with the non-clinical boundary.

A search for a “healing retreat” can express a real wish for relief, meaning, or change. ALMAE is a sacred-inner reflection format in Germany near the Donnersberg, about one hour from Frankfurt Airport; it is not treatment, cure, rehabilitation, detoxification, diagnosis, therapy, crisis care, a healing promise, or an outcome guarantee. The next step is only a private, selective fit review: participation is not automatically confirmed, there is no public application form and no public payment path. ALMAE may fit steady adults seeking non-clinical meaning-and-values reflection; it may not fit symptoms, trauma care, medication questions, withdrawal, detoxification, acute distress, safety concerns, urgent health decisions, delegated life decisions, certainty expectations, or guaranteed-result expectations. Before any later payment, written terms would need to confirm the EUR 6,970 programme price, separate hotel/accommodation and meals, support limits, pause or exit options, and fit/non-fit boundaries.

Purpose A practical guide for private reflection, not a recommendation or assessment.
Boundary Sacred-inner and reflective; not clinical care, crisis support, or a promised result.
Current status Public participation is closed. Eligibility information and FAQ are the only next steps.

Start with the question

Match the setting to the actual need.

Useful points to consider

If the need involves symptoms, trauma, medication, withdrawal or detoxification, acute distress, safety, or diagnosis, seek an appropriately qualified service rather than relying on a sacred-inner group format. Travel, costs, accommodation, support limits, and return arrangements should be judged with ordinary advice or qualified assessment where needed; a quiet place can support reflection, but it does not replace qualified care.

Sacred-inner reflection may address meaning and values, but it must not be presented as a mechanism for medical or psychological recovery.

  • use clinical services for assessment or treatment needs;
  • use emergency or crisis services for urgent risk;
  • consider reflective formats only within their stated non-clinical scope.

Clear limits

Reflection without transferred authority.

The public position is deliberately limited

ALMAE presents a premium, quiet setting for sacred-inner reflection on meaning, values, attention, and lived choices. It does not diagnose, treat, stabilize a crisis, or replace qualified medical or mental-health support. It does not offer or promise healing; where healing happens, ALMAE understands it as happening in God’s grace.

Your beliefs, boundaries, health decisions, relationships, and major life choices remain your own. A guide or group may offer prompts and structure, but neither should be treated as the final judge of what is true for your life.

  • no promised personal, health, relationship, financial, or inner outcome;
  • no claim of inherited tradition, cultural authorization, or special access to truth;
  • no substitute for emergency, clinical, legal, financial, or safeguarding services;
  • no requirement to adopt a belief or hand over independent judgment.

Pause and consider

Keep these reflections private. This page does not ask you to send an answer, and interest alone does not establish fit.

  • Am I actually seeking care, stabilization, or diagnosis?
  • Would a licensed professional be the more appropriate first contact?
  • Can I accept that this format promises no health outcome?

Before any future participation

Confirmed boundaries and remaining details belong in writing.

Confirm before commitment

ALMAE is a 14-day group format for one to seven participants. Manuel guides and accompanies the group, with a yoga teacher involved for relevant periods. Individual 1:1 support and support outside announced sessions are not included. Participants may pause or leave, and hiking or yoga limitations are assessed individually.

The programme fee is EUR 6,970 including tax. Hotel/accommodation and meals are not included; travel, transfers, insurance, and personal expenses are separate. If a participant chooses to end participation after the programme begins, the programme fee is not refunded; detailed controlling terms must be provided, accepted, and signed before payment. Public applications and payment remain closed.

  • current roles and the one-to-seven-person group format;
  • conduct, confidentiality, communication, and safeguarding responsibilities;
  • support limits, voluntary pause or exit, and accessibility;
